Digital Microscopes and Cameras

Capture and edit still and video images with our microscopes with cameras.

Explore digital microscopy and microphotography with high-quality digital microscopes!

Unlike regular microscopes, digital microscopes have built-in cameras. This means you can project live images from the microscope onto a screen. In a science classroom setting, that means more than one student can view at a time. Both a digital microscope and a digital microscope camera allow greater viewing capabilities and have high-resolution image quality.

Share real-time digital images from your microscope by displaying them on your computer or by projecting them on a screen for a class. You can even send your images taken of your field of view in an email. Included imaging software let you to count cells, zoom, create composite and time-lapse images, and set up microscopy reports.

For a more affordable price, use a high-speed digital microscopy camera with a microscope you already have. Microscope cameras attach to regular microscopes via the eyepiece, allowing viewing flexibility. You'll get many of the same benefits when using a digital microscope camera with your current standard microscope.

You can attach both the Microscope Digital Camera (GT) 5 Megapixel and the Microscope Digital Camera (GT) 2 Megapixel to your own standard compound or stereo microscope. Each of these digital cameras comes with editing software, a C-mount +3 eyepiece adapters, a calibration slide, and a USB cable. These 5 Megapixel camera produces 2560 x 1920 pixel still images and video at a frame rate of up to 25 frames per second, and the 2 Megapixel camera produces 1920 x 1080 pixel still images and video at a frame rate of up to 30 frames per second - both depending on resolution and computer performance. The clarity, contrast, and color fidelity of the images and video produced with these digital microscope USB cameras will amaze you! Enrich your brightfield and darkfield microscopy experiences with image capture capabilities.

The three digital microscopes we offer include the Kids LED digital microscope for introducing kids to microphotography, the eFlex Handheld Digital Microscope with a 1.9-megapixel camera, and the National Optical DC5-420TH Digital Stereo Zoom Microscope that features superb optics and precision mechanics.
