Who Is Eligible? 

Parents of a homeschooled Ohio student (or students) in grades K-12 who meet eligibility requirements based on residency, income, or government social program participation are eligible for Ohio Ace Program funds.

    ACE Ohio FAQ's

    Home Science Tools is one of the approved Ohio Ace Program Providers. After placing your order and once you have received your invoice. Use the Ohio ACE app to log-in and manage your account. 

    When you're ready to submit a claim for reimbursement, head to the Ohio ACE app and click "Login with Merit." 

    You'll use the email address and password you created during the account set up process. 

    Before you can submit your first claim, you must first link your bank account.  Click the "Connect Bank Account" button and follow the instructions.

    Click here to apply. The updated ACE application for the 2022-2023 school year is open. The ACE application window for the 2023-2024 school year will open in July. 

    The receipts or invoices that are uploaded in the claim process should contain the following information: 

    • Name of person who purchased the service or good AND name of the child should always be included
    • Name of the service provider or vendor with contact details 
      Proof of payment - A receipt should clearly indicate that the payment was received by the service provider or vendor
    • List of items that were purchased.
    • The date of the service must be listed on the receipt. 

    You will receive your invoice once your order ships to ensure your invoice is correct, please view this example. Here is an example of what your emailed invoice will look like as well.

    The Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) Educational Savings Account program provides funds to a student’s parent or guardian to use on various enrichment and educational activities. The program is being offered through a contract between Merit International, Inc. and the Ohio Department of Education.
