How To Find Out Your Blood Type:
Finding your blood type is simple—as long as you have the right test supplies.
There are four main blood types or blood groups:
- Type A
- Type B
- Type AB
- Type O
Each of these blood types can be positive or negative for the Rh factor.
So in total, there are eight possible blood types:
- A+ or A-
- B+ or B-
- AB+ or AB-
- O+ or O-
Are Home Blood Typing Kits Accurate?
Blood typing, whether at home or in a lab, is based on the way red blood cells clump together or agglutinate. Agglutination is caused by the presence of Anti-A and Anti-B antibodies reacting with the A and B antigens in the red blood cells. Each of these individual blood type kits tests for red blood cell type and Rh factor, and they should give accurate results if used properly.
While this home blood test kit is easy to use, the process is time sensitive. Please read all documentation prior to using the lancet or wetting the card.
This economical home blood typing kit lets you find out your blood type from the privacy of your own home! Whether you want to donate blood and are wondering if your type is in demand, or you’re following the blood type diet outlined in Eat Right for Your Type, or you’re just curious, this easy blood type test kit gives quick reliable results.
