Incline Plane Kit (Friction and Hall's Cart)

Study the force required to move an object with this friction inclined plane set with Hall's cart. You can use this set to demonstrate:

• Friction between two surfaces
• Friction between forces on an inclined plane

Students can use this kit to determine the coefficient of static friction and sliding friction. They can also verify the normal and frictional components of force exerted by the plane. The inclined board can be set at any angle between 0° - 45°. The two scales on the protractor allow angle measurements to be made directly or by trigonometry.
