Go With the Flow Kit

Build and test dams and a watershed to learn about how animals impact the environment. Go With The Flow will help any young geologist learn and test how the environment is impacted by dams.

In this earth and space curriculum kit, students will build and test model dams, learn about how animals impact the environment, and discover how to reduce human impact. Students will use these hands-on science experiments to delve into the human and environmental impact. Go with The Flow comes with a full-color Student Workbook and Teacher Guide. This kit contains activities and information that focuses on the phenomenon of dams and how they impact the environment.

As part of a special program from Home Science Tools, this Wonder level kit will provide over 6 hours of knowledge, educating your student about dams and watersheds, and what that means for the environment.

In this kit, the student will partake in these fun activities:

1. Discover the different impacts dams can have on the environment.
2. Meet the builders of the animal world.
3. Make a beaver dam model.
4. Build models of dams humans use.
5. Explore a use of dams that is less harmful to the environment.

Use “Go With the Flow” to answer questions such as:

• How do humans change the environment?
• Can animals change the environment?
• Is changing the environment good or bad?
• What is a dam?
• What is a watershed?

Our Go With the Flow kit is a part of the Science Unlocked Wonder series and is recommended for elementary students in grades K-2.
