R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey Chemistry 1 Textbook

Get a solid knowledge of scientific basics in elementary school! This R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey chemistry course engages kids with lots of hands-on activities while developing their observation and analytical skills. Some of the topics covered are atoms, the periodic table of elements, molecules, matter, reactions, and more.

Each unit includes a poem and a crossword puzzle to reinforce the main concepts. Lessons are introduced with an engaging page of text, then expanded and developed in 2-3 hands-on labs. Lab worksheets encourage kids to think like scientists and even record their data with simple graphs. The 7 units provide a full year of science at 2 times per week.

The textbook includes everything you need: student pages, instructor sheets, and lab sheets, plus extra resources like a materials list, glossary, assignment planning guide, and recommended books and websites.
