Inside this comprehensive set, you will discover 15 rock specimens and 15 mineral specimens. These samples are conveniently sized, measuring approximately one inch in length and organized in a compartmented box for easy access. Note: This kit does not come with a rock and mineral identification key.
The included tools allow you to delve deeper into the world of geology. Use the acrylic magnifier to examine the intricate details of the rock and mineral samples. Test the hardness of minerals with the included nail. The included streak plate allows you to assess the color of minerals.
While each specimen is numbered from 1 to 30, there is no identification key. Why?
