Welcome to the first annual Home Science Tools Virtual Science Fair – where it's your moment to shine! We are thrilled to invite young scientists in grades K-12 to participate. Design your science fair project around a topic or question you're interested in and follow the scientific method to investigate your findings. Present your project and findings in a 1-5 minute video and submit it to us using the form below. Our judges are career scientists and educators and will evaluate every entry we receive.

Who is eligible to enter? Any student in grades K-12. Homeschool students are strongly encouraged to enter.
How do I enter? Submit your video on this page between March 8th and April 15th.
What are the video requirements: Upload a video of your science experiment, project, or demonstration. Use the scientific method and include details about your hypothesis, a summary of the experiment, and your results.* Video should be 1-5 minutes long. Files can be .mov, or mp4.

HOW TO ENTER: Fill out the form between March 8th and April 15th to be entered in the contest. Entry to the Science Fair constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
SUBMITTED VIDEOS WILL NOT BE SHARED: Videos submitted to the Virtual Science Fair using the form above will not be shared. If you would like your videos to be shared by Home Science Tools, upload them to TikTok, Instagram or Facebook and tag us @homesciencetools.
VIRTUAL SCIENCE FAIR CONTEST PERIOD: Winners will be judged based on the thoroughness and creativity of their science fair project from all entries correctly submitted and received between 3/8/2024 and 4/15/2024.
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS: Upload a video of your student presenting their science project and demonstration, if applicable. The project should be presented as though the student is presenting to judges at a typical Science Fair. Find additional resources here.
*These details can either be included in your video or as a written summary when you submit your project.
VIDEO REQUIREMENTS: The video should be at least 1 minute long, but no more than 5 minutes long. Video format can be .mov, or mp4.
PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be shipped to the Virtual Science Fair finalists. Prizes can only be shipped to an address in the United States. While all students are eligible to enter and win, we can only ship prizes to addresses in the United States. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
PARTICIPANT OBLIGATIONS: By participating in the Virtual Science Fair, you agree to be bound by these Official Terms & Conditions and the decisions of Home Science Tools. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to release and hold Home Science Tools and affiliates harmless from all losses, damages, rights, claims, actions, and liabilities of any kind in connection with the contest or receipt of or redemption of the prize. The winner assumes all liability for any injury, death, or damage caused, or allegedly caused, by participating in the Virtual Science Fair or use or redemption of the prizes.
GENERAL RULES: By entering or participating in the Virtual Science Fair, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and by the decisions of Home Science Tools, which are final and binding in all respects.
